About Classic Europe

Santillana del Mar. Our first coffee stop in Spain
Classic Europe 2010 - A Taste of Spain
September 10th to 17th
Open to any vehicle, modern or classic.
This year we’re heading to Northern Spain and the Picos mountains. We spend 4 nights in Spain staying in 3 luxurious Paradors before crossing the Pyrenees and heading into France to finish in the Dordogne. By design this is the same weekend the racing is on at at the famous street circuit of Angouleme so you have the option to extend your stay and spectate at the races. Over the past 15 years I have participated in at least two European Classic Rallys each year. Using the knowledge gained from these trips, each year I put together a European trip which I believe combines some of the best driving roads coupled with some of Europe’s most spectacular scenery.
In 2008 we toured from Calais to Budapest. In September 2009 we travelled a circular route through the Ardennes, down through Luxemburg, France and Germany to the Lauterbrunnen valley in Switzerland. We enjoyed a James Bond breakfast in the famous Schilthorn revolving restaurant and a fabulous drive over some of the best Swiss alpine passes.
